Jack Daniel's Single Barrel project began filling in January 1997. As the name indicates, each barrel is filled separately. Each barrel will have its (reasonably) unique taste and profile. According to Jack Daniel's only 0.5% of their whiskey would qualify to be used as a Single Barrel cask. The casks usually come from the higher regions of a Barrelhouse where, due to large temperature fluctuations, the taste is better and the colour darker. Jack's Safe often has a large proportion of the generations of Single Barrels in stock in various types, sizes and packaging.  This is a 5th generation Single Barrel from Germany. It is a Master's Choice with sticker on the bottle and front of the box. Limited edition.
