The difference, between Jack Daniel's, Tennessee Whiskey on the one hand and the rest of the American and other whiskies on the other hand, is HOUTSKOOL. After the whiskey has been distilled it is subjected to a process called "Charcoal Mellowing". Softening by means of charcoal. Each drop of Jack goes through a 2-storey high Barrel filled with bandaged oak, the charcoal. This process takes 5 weeks before the same drop arrives at the bottom, but this makes it a lot softer in taste. The strong alcohol taste is a lot less. A Golden move!

One bottle is filled with spirits that have not been mellowed by the charcoal, while the other bottle is filled with spirits that have gone through the process. These sets have been around for a Long time and were used for groping or as a business gift. Until 2019 they were never officially for sale. So an expensive and rare product.
