This Decanter/bottle was produced in the late 50's and early 60's as a display only bottle, this information came from the Head of the Jack Daniel's Research Department: . It never contained any whiskey or had a stopper. It was made to distribute to stores or bars as a display only. He said they only produced maybe a thousand bottles or so and they were extremely rare and hard to find
