Jack Daniel's Single Barrel project began filling in January 1997. As the name indicates, each Barrel is filled separately. Each Barrel will have its (reasonably) unique taste and profile. According to Jack Daniels only 0.5% of their whiskey would qualify to be used as a Single barrel. The casks usually come from the higher regions of a Barre house where, due to the large temperature fluctuations, the taste is better and the colour darker.

Jack's Safe often stocks many Generations of Single Barrels in various types, sizes and packaging. In addition, we are always up to date with our information on the Single Barrel bottles. Dates and Barrel numbers can always be found in the photos or the product description. This also makes it easy to search for a specific date you might be looking for.
